If you have a health concern or symptoms that are not coronavirus-related please contact the surgery by calling 01865 778244 or online through econsult at Leyshealthcentre.co.uk. All appointments are initially by telephone at the moment. The doctor or practice nurse will do all they can to help you over the phone. However, if they feel you need to be seen face-to-face, safe arrangements for this appointment will be made.

If you do not have access to a computer or smartphone please ring the Practice to order your medication also contact to the Reception team for more information.
We are not accepting face to face prescriptions and paper prescriptions will not be accepted at the door.
We will be running flu clinics on Saturday mornings during October and November.

Due to Covid-19 the flu clinics will be changing this year. Please read these rules carefully.
- You must not attend if have Covid symptoms or anyone in your household has Covid symptoms (unless they have had a recent negative test).
- You must dress appropriately to be able to access the shoulder without undressing as vaccinations will be given in public.
- You will wait outside so should have a warm but easy to take off coat.
- You will not be allowed to use the toilet in the Practice.
- You must attend at the booked time or they will be turned away
- It is a one stop walk through so no other issues can be dealt with
- You must bring your face mask.
- You must not bring family members or friends into the building. Only carers are allowed.
Online Booking of Appointments through Patient Access is currently suspended. Please only phone the practice if you have an urgent medical issue. We apologise in advance for any waiting you may experience whilst phoning the practice. DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE. Welcome to The Leys Health Centre
We are a practice of 10 GPs assisted by a physiotherapist, a pharmacist, four Practice Nurses and three Health Care Assistants. From time to time we need to employ locums to cover absences. In addition, we have District Nurses, Health Visitors, a podiatry service, speech and language therapists and a range of psychotherapy professionals attached to the practice.
The team is supported by a dedicated Reception and Admin team who are able to help you find the most appropriate appointment and sort out any administrative issues you may have such as sick notes or checking on a hospital referral.
Our aim is to provide an effective and personal service, working confidentially in partnership with you, to achieve a high standard of medical care in a friendly and professional manner.
